I’m sensing a theme this week:
Lack of sleep.
I know Amy can relate.
I made a commitment tonight that I was told would only keep me until 7:30. That would theoretically leave me plenty of time to get home, get comfy, eat some foods, etc and so forth.
Yeah, funny thing about that. I didn’t get on the road home until after 9. So here I am, at 9:45. Sayin’ hi.
Hi.
Since my regularly scheduled blogging was somewhat interrupted, I’ll leave you with 2 random food items.
1. Blister peanuts.
I never knew the reason behind the name! Thanks to Trader Joe’s enlightening packaging, it all makes sense to me now.
Thank goodness.
Although there’s a typo on the package. Can you spot it?
2. Trader Joe’s cheese+green chili tamales.
You should try them. They’re in the frozen section. And they cost $1.99 for 2 at my local store.
Which means they fall within the rules of my favorite game. My favorite game being, “wander the aisles of Trader Joe’s and buy only items that cost less than $2”. It’s a really fun game.
Maybe I need a life.
But I can address that this weekend. For now, I’ve got my hot tamales.
G’nite, folks!
Oh my goodness… who does their package auditing?!?!
Sorry about the lack of sleep. Maybe this weekend’s frigid temps will give you the perfect weather for hibernation?
I saw the typo! It made me twitch a little. I actually read the packaging a few times to make sure I wasn’t seeing things. As long it doesn’t affect the taste though, it’s all good! 🙂
Those tamales look great! And no ‘an’ necessary on that package!
Ugh, as someone who works in packaging….those darn typos are the death of me!!!! They are so frustrating because you can read and re-read proofs SO many times and then the typo shows up….
I do something similar at TJ’s, give myself $20 and see how much I can get…it’s fun 😉
